The Emmanuel Marianist Retreat House
The facility where we run our programs is located on the third floor of Kellenberg Memorial High School. The area was originally the convent for the sisters who taught at the school. It has been converted by the Marianist Communiity into a retreat house with both single and double rooms, two beautiful chapels, outstanding gardens with fish, ducks and exotic birds. The house can sleep 50 people. The dining and lounge holds 60 comfortably. The Community has recently added the millennium room to hold 100 people for meals or conferences. The auditorium and school cafeteria is used for large audiences. All this makes for a unique, versatile spiritual center, which can accommodate groups of 20 to 500.

Directions
Meadowbrook Pkwy to exit M4, (Hempstead Tnpk. Eastbound). Go to the first traffic light, (Nassau Coliseum should be on your right), Make a left turn onto Glenn Curtiss Blvd. Proceed past the flashing light and immediately after the next signal light, on the right is the entrance to the school. Drive past the athletic field, past the main entrance, to the end of the building, turn right and the entrance to the retreat house is clearly marked. Take the elevator to the third floor. |
